My stay was nice! The bed was super comfy, which was a huge plus after a long day. The bathroom could've used a little TLC though. Overall, a decent place for the price. 😊

Just a good pick for a short-term stay in Carlsbad with real value for money. The bed was comfy and clean, making it a cozy spot for my couple nights in town. For better breakfast options, maybe grab something before arriving.

The Great Western Inn & Suites offered a cozy atmosphere with clean linens and comfortable bedding, making it a pleasant retreat for my stay. The easy access to the lobby and dining area was also appreciated for my convenience.
More accessible seating options for seniors would be nice.

The bed was comfy and clean, making it a cozy spot for my couple nights in town. Plus, the breakfast was a nice touch, even if the options were a bit limited.
This place could use some serious TLC. The tiles were cracked, and I noticed some stains on the chairs. Also, the bathroom had hard water spots that weren’t helping the vibe. Definitely felt more like a budget option than a cozy getaway.

Spent a night here and the bed was super comfy with clean linens, which made for a restful sleep. I loved the pool and the outdoor patio where we could chill out after a long day. The only bummer was the breakfast options were a bit limited, but overall, a great place to stop by! 😊

I had a decent stay where the bed was super comfy, the linens were clean, and breakfast was solid, albeit with no healthy selections. I'd definitely consider coming back if passing through.

The King Room was pretty outdated, like it needed some serious TLC. The bathroom didn’t look cleaned well, with hair everywhere. AC worked fine though. I’m not a fan of using a gross bathroom, so that was a bummer.

Had an awesome stay with friends! We loved exploring the local beach and visiting some cool shops nearby. The place is budget-friendly and perfect for a fun group trip. Just keep in mind that the furnishings aren’t brand new, but they’re comfortable enough for a good sleep after our adventures.
One downside was that some areas could use maintenance. The tiles seemed a bit worn, which made the overall vibe feel less appealing. A little attention to detail would go a long way.

Comfortable stay but room for improvement
We enjoyed our time here, especially the refreshing swim in the pool. The staff were courteous during our check-in, but sadly the breakfast options were quite limited, with some fruits appearing past their prime. If you prefer hearty breakfasts, consider bringing your own snacks.

comfortable bed but cleaning could improve
The bed provided excellent support for a good night's sleep, and the linens looked spotless. The TV offered a variety of channels, which was a nice way to relax after a long day. I appreciated the breakfast option, even though healthier choices were limited, it added convenience to my stay.
The room seemed clean but could benefit from a thorough deep cleaning.
